Darn, I really really wanted to like this book. It just really seemed to drag on.
I really do like the society the author has created in this book and how separate each faction is. I am glad we got to see more of each of the factions and what they are like in this book... as well as the factionless.
I was into the book until around 250 pages, then the book seemed to loose focus. It got confusing as to who was fighting who and why and who was on what side. The book didn't pick back up for me until about the last 50 pages or so.
I hope that I form a better opinion next time I read it before the last book comes out.
